For a genuinely small job — a couple of pieces of furniture, a garden tidy-up, a garage shelf clear-out — a mini skip is cheaper than both a larger bin and multiple trailer trips to the tip. It’s sized so you’re not paying for capacity you won’t use.
Where it ends up costing more
The most common false economy is booking a mini skip for a job that’s actually medium-sized, filling it completely, and then having to book a second bin. Two mini skips almost always cost more than one bin sized correctly the first time. If you’re unsure whether your job fits, it’s worth erring one size up.
